Student Outreach Program

Star Community Theatre created the Student Outreach Program to provide elementary and middle school students with the opportunity to participate in theatre arts. One aim for this program is to help strengthen the public high school theatre programs by introducing students to theatre during their elementary and middle school years. Students that have participated in this program will have a basic knowledge of theatre terms, expectations and techniques and will serve as mentors and role models to students who may be new to the theatre experience.

The goal of the Student Outreach Program is to produce one to two theatrical productions each school year. Giving students the opportunity to perform and work behind the scenes and share all of the exciting experiences that theatre has to offer.

Auditions are open to any student whether they are in public, private, charter or home school. (Depending on the production, certain age limits will apply).
